Navya Chauhan, Editor-in-Chief
Navya has been a member of The Lantern since freshman year. She has written many stories for the newspaper focusing on Sports and News. Her interest in writing began in middle school when she enrolled in the Power Of The Pen interscholastic writing competition in 7th grade. At Strongsville, she held a staff position freshman year and then the Treasurer position sophomore year. This year, Navya is the Junior Editor, along with Nehal Jategaonkar, training to become an editor-in-chief for the 2023-2024 school year. Throughout high school, she has been a part of the Strongsville Cross Country and Track team, Key Club, Mock Trial, National History Day, National English Honors Society and National Honors Society. Navya enjoys all aspects of writing, but enjoys reading as well and is on track to complete over 75 books this year (2022). In her free time, Navya enjoys to read a good book cuddled up in blankets on her porch.
