Get to Know David Boros
Mr. David Boros grew up in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. He has two kids, ages 11 and 13. He also has two cats, one orange and one black. He has been teaching math for 20 years, and although he earned a degree in engineering, he realized he only enjoyed the math portion of the field. Since he has always been strong in math, he began tutoring other students in college, which sparked his interest in becoming a teacher.
“ I loved learning math and helping other students out in college, which sparked my interest in becoming a math teacher,” Boros said.
One of Mr. Boros’ favorite parts of his job is getting to help and teach students, particularly the unit circle. He hopes to make a positive impact on students by helping them grow as mathematicians and apply math to their future goals.
Outside of school, Boros enjoys working outdoors, especially landscaping, and taking care of things around the house. He loves watching his kids play sports and helping them with their schoolwork. When he has freetime, he likes to relax and sleep. During long breaks and weekends, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Favorite restaurant: Wasabi or any type of hibachi
Fear/phobia: Having a water leak in his house without knowing about it. He also has a fear of flying.
Favorite season: Summer, because he gets time off, and it is warm and sunny
If you could have any superpower what would it be? Flying
Favorite vacation spot: In college he traveled to England. He also loves going to Hilton Head.
Hidden talents: All of his talents are visible to the world.
Interesting fact: He can dislocate his shoulders.
